Awesomeness!!! The reason I desperately wanted to read this book wasn't because of the cover, though it's a fabulously genius cover, it was because of the title! I unashamedly confess to being a dirty-talk junkie and when a title includes any form or the combination of the words dirty and talk, I'm a goner! So back to the book. The title set a pretty high expectation prescedent and I hoped it would meet my expectation. When I started I immediately knew I wouldn't have to worry about it. Though i [...]

3 What You Get When Two Geeks Connect Stars * * *I would first like to state as an avid reader of books which have deliciously delectable "dirty talkers" this to me, was a little bit of bait and switchFor the characters in this book, it was more of a suggestive playing than the out and out, down and dirty, cause you to pant and need to do more laundry talkingYes, the set up was them meeting online and our shy geeky gal joking around and saying a few things with the other gamers to suggest she wa [...]

This was a really nice surprise. It was free or maybe .99 cents, but was worth way more. The H and h were really fleshed out and I understood both of them. Their relationship was a lot of fun to watch develop. The steamy times were very steamy! The drama wasn't over the top or caused by others. The H was very casual sexually with women in the past- and did have one night stands too. But he didn't come across as a manwhore and there weren't details all the time or constant reminders. I enjoyed th [...]

I had this book on my to read pile because it featured a geeky girl who was very smart and knowledgeable. I love heroines like that. I was thrilled when I was able to get my hands on an advanced copy of this book.I really enjoyed it! There is great chemistry between the lead characters and the dialogue is snappy. New Zealand is a favorite setting of mine too! I excited to keep reading this writer. The book hints that there will be more in the series. Yea!The book is very good and deals with ADHD [...]

Every once in a while, I try to read a New Adult or Erotica. However, I can't say that I'm always impressed with the books in these genres. So I was quite dismayed to find the MC picturing the hero in "leopard-printthong, baby oil, and…and a smile", fortunately I soon realised that it was only a joke. Anyhow, I did not expect to like Christie and Joseph as much.I think these two are best described in the way they view each other:Christie"He liked that about her. The hint of an iron backbone be [...]

This book was super hot! Not alot going on other than the relationship in the book and the hero/heroine's struggles, so it was very direct and too the point, didn't make your mind wonder to areas that didn't matter. Author did a great job keeping focus and making the relationship steamy, the problems and their issues were wrapped up once they came to light and you never thought this couple wouldn't end up together. No cheating, which is my big A++, not even another woman or man at play other tha [...]

I have to say that I find Jackie Ashenden’s hero’s fascinating. They are so real in terms of the way they think and interact with the world. Like Finn in her earlier release, this heroe is an alpha with a soft gooey centre. Joseph has a secret that he believes makes it impossible to sustain a relationship.Christie simply doesn’t fit anywhere in her families world so has made her own surrounded by gamers and geeks who accept her without thought because she is one of them. When they meet, the [...]

2 stars! ** i couldn't even finish it. I read up to fifty precent and then i just had to stop. I was falling asleep while reading! Too many useless conversations between friends that didn't belong in the story, in my opinion. Even the sex parts were so long and so descriptive i forgot they were f#%king! This was especially disappointing because i read the 3rd book in this series and loved it, but this one fell short for me.

She accidentally sent an inappropriate email to the CEO.They started bantering and somehow doing each other. He has OCD and he's afraid that once she knew about it, she will leave her.He also thinks that he might end up hurting her because of it.

Review posted at fictionvixen/review-talkinSeems like I have a thing for heroes who like to dirty talk in my romance, in fact I’ve been on a bit of a smut talking glom lately. When offered a chance to review Talking Dirty with the CEO I jumped at the chance. The premise was interesting, a geeky, not so chic heroine who accidentally engages the rich owner of a tech company in some online naughty chatting, which leads to an internet date, which leads to some hot sexy times. Yes, please!Christie [...]

Review in English and in Portuguese3.5 - 4.0 Stars História bem fofa.

This was a really cute story. We have Christie, who is a tech writer and a bit of a shy geek. She stutters when she gets nervous, and she's really into gaming. And we have Joseph, who has ADHD and is CEO of a prosperous tech company. They meet when Joseph sees her chatting in a gaming chat room on one of his employees' computers. They strike up a conversation and he's intrigued. They meet in person, have instant chemistry, have mind-blowing sex, and she runs away. He doesn't even know her real n [...]

Based on the "Talking Dirty" part of the title, I figured I'd have to like it. But I also thought it could go the other way for me considering it had "The CEO" in the title as well. Millionaire/Billionaire playboy heroes aren't my favorite type of hero, but I figured I'd give this one a shot because it just sounded so good. And I'm glad I did. The wealth of the hero wasn't overdone--the most we see is his rare and awesome stereo system, lol. And his playboy/promiscuous side was mentioned but not [...]

For this review and more my blogTalking Dirty with the CEO is normally my kind of book. It has a great storyline, it is set in a great city (Auckland) and it has geeky nerd stuff in it which is exactly my kind of thing. But in the end this didn’t quite do it for me.I found most of the story quite sweet and I loved how the romance built but in the end it felt like the characters were putting roadblocks in the way of the relationship just because they could. It got a little tiresome, especially [...]

My main problem in this story was Christie. I just felt like she was so weak and I couldn't take it. I just wanted to grab her by the shoulders, shake her and yell, "STOP BEING SUCH A WUSS!" I don't know if other people will have such a strong reaction as I did but I'm not a timid person and I would never let my family continually treat me like shit without speaking up and I would never say to a guy, (view spoiler)["But I love you," when he tells me he doesn't want me. She said she wasn't going [...]

I loved this story. The beginning was a little shaky for me and the ending felt a bit rushed, but I couldn't go to sleep last night until I finished this damned thing. I had to know what he was going to do.I will say, though, the title of this story just didn't fit the book for me. I didn't think either one of them was ever really "dirty talking" at all. It was really more that he was very direct, but it wasn't ever dirty. At least not to me it wasn't. It was hot, but not dirty per se.I love Jos [...]

Christie St John is a geek! She loves nothing more than playing computer games and going on online tech forums. I did wonder why Christie chose her online name of 'NaughtyGirl' for a tech site though?! Christie is a Journalist for a Tech Magazine, she loves all things tech. I liked Christie. She's very insecure all thanks to her horrible mother who has belittled her most of her life. Christie feels like her mother, father and brother have no interest in her so she rebels a bit by wearing Doc Mar [...]

The moment I read the blurb for Talking Dirty with the CEO I knew I had to read it, so I signed up for an ARC of the book from Entangled Publishing. This was a fun read. Right away it opened with sizzling dialogued I just loved the premise. I instantly liked Christie. She's an "every-girl" heroine. I think there is something about her we can all relate to.As for JosephI can sum him up in one word. YUM! I liked his quick wit and the fact that he struggled with ADHD.Together this pair was dynamite. [...]

A happenstance encounter in an online gaming chat room begins the wild relationship between Christie St. John and Joseph Ashton in Talking Dirty with the CEO by Jackie Ashden. Expecting to go out and have a good time, neither expects to start the torrid affair that follows.I liked both characters, and Christie and Joseph embody the idea that opposites attract. Christie, a shy heiress more comfortable sitting on the couch playing video games as she listens to goth music while Joseph is a confiden [...]

I received this book from the publisher for an honest review. So here I go:"Talking Dirty With the CEO" was an okay read. I really wanted to like but I just couldn't. The whole story line was a bit weak and the characters' dialogue and situations seemed too forced at times.I literally felt that the whole precipice of this read was directly taken straight out of a storybook. I mean, geeky journalist publishes an online article that ends up into a steamy encounter with a sexy CEO mogul and the man [...]

Joseph likes to always bring up those pleasant memories, “what? You mean apart from the fact that Liz just introduced you?” Joseph folded his arms. “Well, here’s a reminder. You on the bathroom vanity. Me inside you while you screamed in my ear.” Joseph beloved him, he can be stupid at times but he always realized after awhile his stupidity, “when I said that stuff about me getting bored, that was an excuse,” he said hoarsely. “I don’t think I could ever get bored with you.” [...]

Christie and Joseph met on a whim. Bored in a meeting and having to get entail for a writing piece. Required items, Ugg boots, sheepskin rug, leopard print thong, and Neil Diamond. What they got was a convenient vanity, bike ride, an interview, and acceptance. The Ugg boots came later. This was a nice read that hit on insecurities, strength, doubt, and love. Sexy and fun geeks finding the one person that gets them.

Talking Dirty With The CEO was a great read. It was hot, fun, light and a perfect beach read. It hit all the right notes without becoming boring or silly. Jackie has a fantastic way of writing which I love and the story just took over until all of a sudden it was finished. I love when a book can do that. I would definitely recommend to romance fans.

Way better (and cuter) than the title would lead you to believe. Basically it's "Computer nerds fall in love." Loved it.

1.5 starsI liked the premise and there were some scenes I loved, but I found myself skimming through this quite a bit. I didn't like how they met online and I didn't believe in their feelings for one another or the HEA. Overall, my 1.5 stars are for the scenes that I really enjoyed and because the book did keep me going until the end.
