My Review: This series is about a group of girls, friends from college, and their getting together on New Year’s Eve. When they were in college, they made a list of qualities they wanted to find in a husband. With all of them single again, they make a new list and challenge to find someone by next year. "A Real Man" begins with a recount of the first book "Loving Mick" but it's from Melissa’s point of view which makes perfect sense as this is Melissa's story. The Good: Melissa, currently atte [...]
Melissa Martin Hall as a fresh slate this New Years Eve, after a marriage filled with hopes ended with death and a sordid view on happily ever after. Reminiscing with her best friends over their lists when they were bright eyed and ready to take on the world, Melissa makes a pact to reinvent the list and o hers is finding a real man, but her quest is temporarily on hold when an accident has her being rescued by Matt Conroy the boy who once was her whole world but life happened instead. It could [...]
This book was part of a blog tour, I received a copy for my honest reviewThis book starts out with a recap of the New Years Eve party in the first book, but it's from Melissa’s point of view. We find out that Melissa was in a marriage with an indifferent and controlling husband who died. Three months after the party Melissa has started school again and on her way to a study date she gets in a car accident and her ex-boyfriend from high school is on of the EMTs who pulls her out of the car. Mat [...]
I was excited to review this book and the entire series of books. This series is about a group of girls, friends from college, and their getting together on New Year’s Eve. With all of them single again, they make a new list and challenge to find someone by next year. This is Melissa’s story. Melissa is currently attending grad school and on her way to a study session with Jason, she is involved in a cr [...]
I must say, I like this one better than the first book in the series: 'Loving Mick'. It's an easy read and Melissa is a very enjoyable character. It's good she's giving Matt a second chance and I like the way Matt was described to be and how he changed. How he became a better man, a real man. I'm not used to reading thin books but but at least the author didn't make it tedious - for which I would like to thank her.
"A Real Man" begins with a recount of the first book "Loving Mick" and continues with Melissa's adventures. A nice quick, fun, easy read that is filled with romance. A must read for the series. This review is based on a complimentary copy from the author which was provided for an honest review.
